The Salem University Library edifice built in 2009 has been renamed “James Ocholi (SAN) Library”. This immortalization was done by the University Chancellor and Founder, Archbishop Dr. Sam Amaga on October 8, 2016.
Declaring the new identify of the Library, the Chancellor described Late James Ocholi (SAN) as one of the backbone of Salem University through his outstanding leadership qualities in keeping the vision and mission of Salem University before his demise in March 2016.
Late James Ocholi (SAN) was the pioneer Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of Governing Council of Salem University
