Applications are hereby invited  from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the  Pre-degree Programmes of the  College of Medical Sciences, Faculties of Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Science, Agriculture and Technical & Science Education for the 2016/2017 academic session.

DURATION OF PROGRAMME AND MODE OF STUDY

The programme is for duration of two semesters (one academic session). Mode of study is face to face at the Rivers State University Science and Technology, Nkpolu-Oroworukwo, Port Harcourt.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Applicants for admission into the Pre-degree Programme are expected to have a minimum of five ‘O’ Level Credits at one or two sittings including English Language; credits in Mathematics and three other relevantScience subjects in the SSCE/GCE organized by WAEC and NECO.
Applicants for Basic Medicine are expected to have the required five ‘O’ Level Credits at one sitting. Candidates MUST write the 2016/2017 JAMB/UTME with relevant subject combination to any programme and MUST obtain the minimum UTME approved cut-off point.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Candidates are to visit the RSUST website www.ust.edu.ng and follow the link for Application for 2016/2017 Pre-degree programmes.
Application Forms are to be completed online after payment of application fee of N15,000 (Fifteen Thousand Naira) only. A candidate who is offered admission will be expected to bring his/her SSCE/GCE certificates/result slips and other relevant credentials during registration.
